Plant It was a group project to design a brand with sustainability in mind. We created sustainable products with matching sustainable packaging for a plant shop. However, my group and I were overachievers and decided to also design a website to show off the product we designed.

What is Plant It?

This product was designed to help users find plants that are native to their area, purchase plants, get help with taking care of them, and do this all in sustainable packaging. We created a website where the user can shop and get information. Each plant comes in a recycled terrazzo pot or a compostable nursery pot designed to melt into the ground over the course of a few months.

Email

This is a quick advertisement email created to showcase the branding in use other than on the website and packaging. We wanted to show how versatile the design choices we made were, and created a small email for a "New Arrivals' campaign to showcase the branding in a different way.

Recycling Plans

We even had a way to make our products using recycling plans. The user can donate their dead plants for our composting pots, or they could donate their broken pots for our terrazzo collection. This way we stayed super sustainable and helped encourage our customers to do the same in their lifestyle.

This mockup was rough-built in person, and edited in photoshop to include the Plant-It branding.
